Written Sep 4, 2026Nova Premier is Amazon's flagship text-and-image model built for long documents and coding tasks, with a one-million-token request limit. It is a proprietary, hosted-only service with a premium output rate and measured real-world coding performance.
Choose this for analysing documents that need the full one-million-token window, or for coding assistance on real repositories where its measured issue-resolution rate matters. Use it if you are already on Amazon Bedrock and can accept 19.5 tokens per second. Skip it if output cost is a constraint, if you need low latency, or if you want the option to run locally or switch providers freely.
